administration of the website

Goal — to keep the website that introduces audiences to the work of Mykhailo Bilas, People's Artist of Ukraine, running reliably for the next 5 years.

About — the website is the key platform for preserving and presenting Mykhailo Bilas's artistic legacy in a global context. Its technical support guarantees that this digital space stays continuously available, regardless of time or geography.

The funds raised go towards technical maintenance, which allows us to:

Ensure stable operation — prevent technical failures and downtime, which have already made the site unavailable to thousands of visitors (including two hacking incidents that took it offline for a total of 40 days).

Keep the content up to date — regularly add new materials and sustain interest in the artist.

Develop new features — introduce new tools and improve existing ones (high-quality galleries, multilingual support), helping to promote Ukrainian art internationally.

Domain and hosting

Renewal of the .art domain name, server capacity able to handle high traffic, and an SSL certificate for a secure connection.

Protection against threats

Ongoing protection against systematic hacking attempts, spam and malware, plus continuous security monitoring.

Updates and backups

Timely updates of the CMS core, plugins and components, bug fixes, and regular data backups.

Content and moderation

Editing and expanding the virtual museum's materials, moderation, and keeping the virtual exhibition in good order.

Timeframe

The fundraiser runs for five years from its launch and ends on 25 April 2031, regardless of the amount raised. All proceeds are used exclusively to keep the website running, protected and technically supported. If donations exceed the required budget, any unused funds will be transferred to the account of the Mykhailo Bilas Foundation charitable organisation to support the Foundation's other projects.

Programme rules

  • The fundraiser runs for five years from its launch date and ends when this period expires, whether or not the full amount has been raised. All funds raised are used exclusively to keep the website operational, protected and technically maintained. If the amount raised exceeds what is actually needed for these purposes, any unused balance will be transferred to the account of the Mykhailo Bilas Foundation and used to support the Foundation's other projects.
  • By making a donation to the Foundation's bank account, the donor automatically agrees that the funds may be reallocated to other current projects or to the statutory activities of the Mykhailo Bilas Foundation if it becomes impossible to use them for their original purpose.
  • By making a donation, the donor automatically agrees that it is non-refundable. Please check all details carefully before making a transfer. If you are sending funds from abroad, make sure you have selected the correct currency.
  • To cancel a recurring donation, email mbilasart@gmail.com. Include your LiqPay payment ID (shown in your bank statement, SMS or LiqPay notification), the amount and the date of subscription. If possible, attach a screenshot of the payment.

How do I cancel my recurring donation?

If you bank with PrivatBank, go to the LiqPay website, sign in, find our foundation in the list and click "Unsubscribe". If you use another bank, email mbilasart@gmail.com with your LiqPay payment ID (shown in your bank statement, the debit SMS or the LiqPay confirmation email), the amount and the date of subscription. If possible, attach a screenshot of the payment.
